My mom sent me a message today that she had a towhee at the feeder (northeast of London) and sent along this photo.  Check it out!  Eastern Towhee (Pipilo erythrophthalmus) is definitely a rarity in Southern Ontario during the winter as the ebird map shows (December-January, for past 10 years).  It's exciting enough to see one in the summer!
